Court is held on the second Thursday of every month at 9:00 a.m.

Fines except No Driver License, No Insurance, and DUI may be paid online at https://msezpay.com. By paying prior to court, the defendant is entering a guilty plea.

fines can also be paid in the Town Hall prior to the issued court date. no payments will be taken at town hall on Court day.

ADDITIONAL FEES WILL APPLY FOR PAYING ONLINE OR USING A CREDIT CARD in person.

COLDWATER COURT ROOM POLICY AND DRESS CODE

POLICY

  • No children under 6 years of age

  • No cell phones, pagers, or electronic devices

  • No weapons of any kind are allowed

  • No excessive talking and/or bad attitudes will be tolerated

  • Do not approach court personnel until name is called

  • DO NOT APPROACH AN OFFICER EXCEPT FOR AN EMERGENCY

  • Entry for court sessions will be prohibited if you are under the influence of any form of alcohol and/or drugs

DRESS CODE

No halter tops, tank tops, or muscle shirts

  • No shorts

  • No miniskirts-dress must be to knees

  • No head wear of any kind i.e., caps, hair nets, bonnets

  • No undergarments may be exposed

  • No offensive writing or emblems

  • No revealing clothing

  • No baggy or excessively loose clothing

  • No pants hanging below the waist line

Coldwater Municipal Court is a first-come, first-serve Court in which the defendants will be called upon based on the order of sign-in.  Do not ask any officer to move you to the front of the list for any reason. 

ONLY THE INDIVIDUAL THAT IS ON THE DOCKET WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER.  WITNESSES AND FTA DEFENDANTS MAY WAIT OUTSIDE UNTIL CALLED FOR.
