Mayor GlenN Billingsley
Mayor Glenn Billingsley took office July 1, 2021. Prior to becoming Mayor, he served on the Town of Coldwater’s Board of Aldermen for 8 years. Mayor Billingsley is a proud citizen of Coldwater since 1994 along with his wife Vivion Billingsley. Members of New Independence Missionary Baptist Church of Coldwater with Pastor Roney Strong, Sr. are who he proudly calls his church family. Mayor Billingsley also serves on the Board of Trustees.
During his term so far, Mayor Billingsley has made many accomplishments. He currently sits on the North Mississippi Mayor’s Association in which he was requested by other Mayors to serve and represent North Mississippi. Mayor Billingsley also serves on the Mississippi Municipal Board of Directors, the Tate County Economic Development Foundation Board, Mission Mississippi Board, and the Tate County Council of Government Board.
Nearly 4 million dollars in grants have been received since July 1, 2021. However, this is not enough progress for Mayor Glenn Billingsley. He has a mission to grow Coldwater by having industries call Coldwater home. He also has a mission to provide a safe community-oriented environment for the citizens, the visitors, and the workers within the Town.
